The olloclip and the iPhone. I am an iPhone fan. I love it for documenting my daily life. I even got into a phase when I was using the iPhone more than my 35mm camera, just loving everything that came out of it.Read More

“My brother, Stuart, doing some reflecting.” by Don Brown
There are only two permanent MegaRamps in the world. One belongs to Bob Burnquist in San Diego and the other is in Tehachapi, CA at Woodward West.
The MegaRamp at Tehachapi, CA has a 150 ft launch into three different choices for gap jumps, 50, 60 or 70ft ending in a 27ft quarter-pipe.
Last week, we took off for Woodward West inviting Joey Brezinski, Christian Hosoi, Laetitia Bufoni, Braulio Sagas and others join us there.
Above Aaron Jaws is doing backside air on the 27ft quarter-pipe. He’s flying out of the ramp an additional 6ft. Beaver Fleming is doing backside air as well, and he’s airing almost a dozen feet.
Maddog is grinding the capsule with brick coping. Alex Hiam is busting a flair on his bike on the outside mini-ramp. Meanwhile, Ben Raybourn is getting air over a volcano. Christian Hosoi’s son, Classic, is ollieing up on the sushi table. In the last photo, olloclip’s Mark Sweetser is hanging with Christian Hosoi and his two sons Endless and Classic.
Huge thanks to everybody that joined us.
We were captivated today by Jim Dickinson’s storytelling ability. This is his first attempt at a timelapse on a trip to Northern Italy.

The Colors of San Diego Comic Con
We arrived in San Diego with the streets already busy. We called our friends to meet up. Then, we ordered ice cream from Uber. We hung out at the Kings of Con party only to discover a secret vault (with ideal lighting conditions). We played around with a Celestron microscope at the Wired Café. If you weren’t aware that George Washington is throwing shade at you from the $1 bill, he is. Then, we left George to drive back to LA.

Jethro Ames has been making some amazing Vines - and we aren’t the only ones who have noticed. A few months months ago, he won the Tribeca #6SECFILM competition (in the “Animate” category) with his video “How to clear out your garage from a scary ghost”.
Finally, Mashable’s editor in chief Lance Ulanoff uses his new Quick-Flip™ case and an olloclip for his “Desktop Battle” video. Look closely to see the Pro-Photo Adapter attached to the new olloclip case.

Two years on, a letter to update the olloclip Kickstarters:
I wanted to share a few photos with you. The dream you helped fund exactly two years ago was a dream about photography. Below you’ll see our design team — I’m part of it — taking inspiration from Steve Jobs. We walk by him multiple times a day, chewing on our designs and thinking,”Would Steve approve of it?” It is with a great amount of pride that I tell you about the past year of innovation and design at olloclip.
Since you funded the olloclip 3-in-1 lens project, the olloclip has had great success worldwide and is sold in every Apple Store in the world. A range of new products are in the pipeline as a direct result. You may have already seen our Quick-Flip™ case which was featured in all kinds of tech blogs and news outlets. The Quick-Flip™ case is shipping now. Also available now is the olloclip App, which allows you to easily adjust fisheye, wide-angle and macro photos captured with your lens system. I’ve included a links to some reviews in case you would like to learn more.
I love being able to meet the original Kickstarters at Apple Stores and events like SXSW and CES. Thank you so much for your support and enthusiasm. I am inspired by the photos you share on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Your talent as mobile photographers makes me grateful to be a part of the olloclip community.
Stay tuned. There’s more to come.
Thank you again,
