This past weekend, the olloclip team took a trip to Coachella Valley to photograph its festival. We wanted to share a handful of photos from our trip. The first thing to strike us at the festival was the light.
Sound aside, the most exciting part of Cochella is the light. Well, at least for photographers. Over three nights, each sunset appeared radiantly but never like the night before. As the natural light faded, new light appeared. It came in the form of strobe lights, lasers and smoke machines to diffuse them. These three wide-angle shots are of (1) the main stage (2) the crowd against the Ferris Wheel (3) the lights from Benny Benassi’s set at the Sahara stage.
